Received a FANTASTIC news from a long-time friend few days back…

(Drum roll) He’s officially saying “GOODBYE” to bachelorhood & “HELLO” to married life. After years of playing Aunt Agony, & of cos his unwavering perseverance, he’s finally getting hitch to his dream girl!!!

Way to go, dude… Congrats!!!

Well… in case u wonder y am I devoting an entry talkin abt it. I mean it’s really not a big deal getting married.

Erm… It’s mainly due to how we met. He’s a special friend. U see… knew him thru mIRC when I was in Sec 3, so that’s 12 yrs of friendship! Wat started out as an ordinary chat with a stranger turned out to be a friendship in the making. It’s amazing how our friendship lasted throughout these yrs, esp when he went to Aust to study, a midst of the reports of net chatting, etc… Guess I was really lucky. 

Meeting up never crossed our minds throughout these yrs & guess wat… we only met up only last yr when my PC was down! How resourceful I am… Hahha…

Rem talking yrs ago abt not meeting up until one of us gets married & inviting each other to the wedding. Never imagined him to be ahead of me. Hurray!!! Lookin forward to meeting the bride soon… hopefully by the time I receive the invitation, Mr Jupiter has appeared…

Yeah… finally the weeklong of makan session has ended. Wat a way to celebrate 26 yrs on earth… hahaaa… Social calender has never been busier…

Started with a day @ the Zoo on Good Fri. Nostalgic feel… Practically walked 4 hrs, would have put on the HRM if I have known better, least can count how many calories was burnt! Ha… it was good fun with the girls, I mean strolling together, cracking jokes & of cos babysitting after my kids. Constantly keeping a lookout for them proved to be quite a heavy responsibility. Totally understand how the teachers felt in the past when we out for excursion…

The following week was spent on EATING!!! Hog’s Breathe, Red White & Pure, Bens & Jerry, Pepperoni, Mad Jack, Ice-cream parlour… Gosh!!! Not to mention, the wonderful BD cards & prezzies collected. Thank u guys…!!! Muacks muacks muacks…

Major splurge for myself. Spent 500 bucks on 2 glasses… kena talked into by mom. " Nice nice… Classy lor, suits u…" budget budget… there goes my thoughts of saving up for rainy days & repaying my debts. Argh… not that I’m complaining lah… hhaa…

Haven’t been updating the blog… think this is gonna be the temp intro for the time being…

Jus a little peek since I last blogged… (“,)

Received exams results, erm… flunked it & exams is in 2 mths time! & yes I’ve yet to start anything… gosh! Getting immuned to the whole feelin of flunking the papers. haiz…. Better do sumthing abt it. Hellz…!

Actually jus recovered fm throat infection 2 weeks back. Realised I’m quite chatty… even when I lost my voice, I’m still dyin to talk ; was quite a torture to rest the voice for 2 days. & guess wat…? Throat’s still a little sore due to the constant temptations surrounded; wedding banquet, bbq, makan sessions… how to recover??

Talking abt wedding… March also witnessed Cindy officially becoming Mrs. Jeff! Congrats!!! Lookin forward to see little cindys & jeffs soon…

Hee… finally Mr. Jupiter. Been asked by couple of frens who the hell is he…! Nah… I’m not attached lah!

It’s jus a darn goood choc cake I had with L3 recently during our shoppin spree. Well… really gotta thank DP for giving us the opportunity for shoppin her prezzie. Jupiter’s so sinful that I can still rem how it tastes. Haha… really went gaga over it. Not exaggerating but it’s really goood. Bet u must be cursing & swearing ya??  Now that Jupiter is unveiled, I need to look for others already. Hhaa… maybe Pluto?

26^th BD approaching… hee… already gave ample time to prepare moi’s prezzie. Haaha… really lookin forward to explore the new makan places with my kakis. 26 soon… gosh… before I know it, it’s the BIG 30…!!! Hate to think abt it… Argh….

It’s workday tmr… another mth & officially my Sunday’s off… lookin forward to it. My Sundays will never be the same… Pls date me after april ya… *winks*

Finally!!! After much deliberation & effort, I’m updating my blog… Despite loggin in everyday, sometimes it’s a hassle jus to update wat’s going on… (lazy bum)

Hmm… took exams in dec which results will be released on 19 Feb. Ermm… prayin realli hard that I can clear the papers lor & in the meantime, really busy with my tuition assignments. Haha… took up new assignments upon recommendation fm my kids’ parents. Hee.. more income = less social time  =(

Xmas was rather busy with party & of cos shopping… New Year was completely boring. Spent my countdown in bed zzz ; How boring is that!!!

But so far… 2007 has been quite alright. Rather blessed with wat’s going on right now. & Yess… I’m still strugglin with which area to venture into upon graduation, so lost.. ARGH…!

Well… barely into the 1st mth of 2007, & I’ve received 2 RED BOMBS fm my gfs with 1 invitation to be a bridesmaid.. Wah… huge responsibility leh! Hee… truth is I’m very excited & happy. As if, I’m the one getting married lor, with preparations for the prefect gown & stuff months ahead.

Well… haven’t found Mr Right, so yet to have the chance to wear VERA WANG. Green with envy…

Slowly working towards my resolutions for 2007… baby steps @ a time.

Top of my list: To have more makan sessions with my gfs. Looking back, 2006 was a pathetic yr for us lor…

Next: To get back in shape. Been rather sluggish the past yr & with my SUNs off (finally), I’m lookin forward to my tennis lessons..

& of cos with CNY approaching, goodies galore. Managed to sniff out one of the best pineapple tarts I’ve come across & of cos the endless line of steamboat sessions. Hee…

Been quite some time since I updated the blog. Not that things were in stagnant state jus that I was rather lazy to do any update.

It seemed that Oct didn’t go as well as I expected. Been busy with my kids exams. Received a rather disappointing news last sun - 2 of my kids are terminating my service after having taught them for 3 yrs. Jus sad lah, will miss my girls… with them leaving, I’ve got a few new kids to handle. Gosh… schedule is gettin tighter than ever. Further planning required!

With the blink of an eye, it’s already mid-nov & exams in a mth’s time. Wat can I say, except that I HAVE YET TO PREPARE ANYTHING!!!! Gosh… attended my last lecture today. Getting all cold feet thinkin how close the date is & how little preparation I’ve done so far. Siao liao…

Attended a career talk on financial planning today. I must say it’s actually rather interesting. An career avenue for me in future??? Seriously it might… So ppl jus in case, I buzz u out of the blue in future, pls dun shun me ya??? (",)

Had a chat with my sister’s FA last week. A rather stressful conversation that shld have taken place ages. It took me yrs to summon my courage to discuss abt my finances. Knocked some sense into my head… Dunno y it jus took me so long to understand it. Haiz….

Well… better late than never. Learnt some stuff today @ the talk which I think I shld be pondering on. Well… certainly hope it ain’t too late for me to start on my books. Hee…

It’s the last day of Sep… Hurray! Spell ends for a dreadful mth… & it’s Children’s Day tmr.

Feeling all stuffed & tired right now but couldn’t possibly sleep with undigested food in my tummy. Gosh… result of a filling dinner with Tabitha & CY. Feeling good esp with the bouquet of flowers fm Tabi, fragrance surrounding the room. A FEEL GOOD factor… "THANKS A LOT, MY DEAR. It really brightens up my day!!!" *muacks*

Had a jammed pack day… Went for a swim this morning which ended rather abruptly due to the rain, had a massage, movie & dinner. Erm… I must say the massage was a little disappointing. Wasn’t as strong as I wished it had been… But it was a pampering session despite my continous raving. Felt good doing nothing & being able to fuse with the weekend crowd was simply a sense of being a "human" having been working on weekends the past 2 yrs.

Totally enjoyed the movie… worth the 10 bucks! "Little Miss Sunshine" –> had a great time laughin my a** off. Hilarious… The wonderful dessert over @ Robertson Walk was an icing on the cake. I mean the dinner was shiok esp with the sashimi but the cakes were WOW! Found another place to enjoy tea & cakes. Geat… another pig out session in mind

Gonna hit the sack soon… Weekend lecture tmr…

Sept started with a BANG… but ended in a rather dreadful manner. Dun think the next few days gonna make any difference… But hey I believe Oct will be a better mth, @ least I hope so.

Went to WESTLIFE concert which I thought was way below par compared to the last time they were here. Perhaps I’ve matured. No longer the boyband crazy fan anymore… But 1 thing for sure, the next time I see a concert, I’m gonna pay more. Could hardly see anything this time round…

Been busy with my kids’ studies, esp with PSLE approaching & SA. STRESS… Not to mention, the ever increasing ??? appearing in my mind after attending lectures. Gosh… totally clueless. ARGh… 2 mths b4 crunchtime!! & the marathon… wah piang! So many deadlines to meet… I’m DEADMEAT!

Boarded an emotional rollercoaster in the mth of Sep… erm… an experience I rather not relive again. I mean with all the guessing, waiting… Phew it’s such a torture. Guess have to settle for SINGLEHOOD right now, esp with so many things on my plate right now. Can’t handle another…

I’ve learnt something though… Feelings can’t really be forced, no matter how hard u try. Maybe it’s jus me… I mean if the physical attraction is not there, wat’s there to talk abt?? Superficial?? I guess so…& worst I’m not doin anything to change my perspective. Visited an interesting website abt the "8 zhi" calculation. Surprisingly, it was rather accurate, do give it a try.

Wah… Mental block after a record breaking of 7 hrs lectures since this morning. This is equivalent to 5 lectures… Ah!!! Diagnosis: more reading required to be done. Gosh… Wat the heck!!! Mentally drained… seriously man, I was purely mechanic towards the end of the lecture. Basically copying watever that’s on the slide without digesting the info @ all… Hmm… really gotta considered attending crash courses in future. Plus, plenty of HW to do. Oh dear… HEADACHE. Need to stock up plenty of kopi & aspirin. Argh!!!

Oh ya… went to perm my hair for a change. In place of the smooth & flat hair, wild curls ard. Refreshing change… Was jus flippin thru my resolutions for YR 2006, erm… only accomplish 1! Another 3 mths to a new yr, trying hard to attain a few more for a fruitful yr.

Went shoppin today… Targetted a rather RETRO Navy Blue dress fm Mango, still deciding whether to get it. Think pearls + heels… Killer!!! Heee… Got myself a tee shirt. Rather satisfied with my buy but havin that dress would be a bonus. Hmmm….

Talking abt luck… wah piang! The 4D last week!!! Heartache… didn’t follow my instincts & there goes my money. Sobs… But on the brighter note, won a pr of tickets for Westlife concert this fri. So I guess life isn’t that bad after all… =)

Teacher’s Day jus passed… Received a no of prezzies fm my kids. Kids… they’re so innocent. No matter how many times they’re being lectured, they’ll never fail to lift my spirits, esp when silly qns are being asked. Ah…

Oh… rem I was talking abt reading a wider variety of books instead of the usual romance novels. Hee… glad to say I did it. Jus finished a book that made me cried. So heart wretching. My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult, that’s the book. Go read it if u have the chance.

Have to go… back to work tmr. Gosh… can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss working. Hee…. great day ahead. Need to soak in H2O to de-stress. Lookin forward to swim meet on tues.  Nites…

Hey hey… it’s been a while huh. Well well…Here’s an update.

Been piggin out & lazing ard since Mom returned fm States. Free of housework & cooking, passed the baton back to Mom. Yippie…! Hmm… Kinda of missed the routine though. As mentioned, been pilin on the "WEIGHT DEPT" (red alert), still tryin to find my source of DRIVE, DETERMINATION & DISCIPLINE!!! (3 Ds) Did @ a 10min workout with the hoops & weights today… hopefully can pick up on the pace. Gotta start training for the marathon. 21km… gosh… talk abt endurance! Flashbacks fm last yr…. HOW the hell did I complete it?? Hmmm…. hope can better my timing this time. Haha…

Been pretty busy with my ‘kids’ & work… it’s been a mth w/o Tabitha @ work. Well… life’s as usual, jus very technical lor. No gossips… Thank GOD, there’s MSN (my only source of gossip tool). Hee… Not much interactions with the NEWBBIES, so weird talking crap to them. Not a PR person… it’s like chatting with them bcos I have to & not want to. So fake & tedious… Hai

Exam results was released on Mon… as expected didn’t clear my 2.6. In fact, fared pretty badly. Luckily, I managed to clear 1 paper. It was really a relief, burden off my shoulders. Attended lecture tonight… overload of info! Having not attended any lectures for 6 mths, seriously I’ve got plenty catch up to do. Opted for the KILLER paper. Not sure it’s the right decision, since it’s overlappin watever I’m learning but wat the heck! I’ve already put my feet in… jus have to be the "PROBLEM CHILD" in class. Keep askin help fm lecturer lor… Hee… But 1st, I need to find my 3 Ds & in dire need… & of cos time mgmt. Wow… handful of stuff to do!

Finally… made an appt @ Amrita for my treatment. Wah… totally lookin forward to it. End-Sep where the school is having a break. 85 mins of Shiatsu!! No oil used… was told by the staff tat it’s not advisable to do such a STRONG massage for the 1st time, but HELL NO, I need something strong to ease my aches. Dun care if it’s gonna ‘KILL’ me with the pain. Certainly felt better after all the pain… hee… still considerin the body scrub though.

Been toyin with the idea of changing my name for bettter luck… might do it soon. Thinkin of including a middle name too. Hmm… still undecided. Will c how it goes… well gotta run. Beauty sleep deprived… catch up soon!

Dreaded going to work today… Not that I’m not enjoying but with my kaki gone, work is jus plainly work… Miss listening to her voice on every weekends, "Hello,   ********. Tabitha speaking, can I help u??" Ah…. missed that voice. Not to mention, the grumblings + updates in between calls. Ermm… How am I gonna spend my Sundays without her??

Man… really miss ur presence, Auntie Tabitha!!!

Met up with Elene few weeks back to celebrate her BD… she asked why I keep saying ‘Thank You’ to nearly everyone??? Hmm… didn’t notice until she pointed out. Never know I could be so polite, given my character, Attitude with capital ‘A’. Hahah….

Then I realised maybe it has to do with Tabitha. Working with her for the past 2 years, she’s taught me to become a BETTER person. May sound cliche… but it’s the truth. Kena influence by her… She’s the least calculative person I’ve met, not to mention, self-less & REAL. She’s one person who really dislike apple polisher & fake ppl… Not sure if I can attain her level but it was FUN working with her. She’s 1 person I wish I met earlier rather than 2 yrs back. But better late than never… For that, I thank u, my dear friend…. It’s been 2 WONDERFUL years!!!
